Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HostPage (operated by Labforty8 LLC, "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of HostPage after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

HostPage is a platform that enables Airbnb hosts to create their own direct booking websites. By pasting your Airbnb listing URL, HostPage automatically imports your property details, photos, reviews, and pricing to generate a professional, mobile-responsive booking website. Hosts can accept guest reservations directly, manage bookings, and receive payments through their own Stripe account — reducing reliance on third-party marketplace fees.

3. User Accounts

To use HostPage, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. We use a passwordless email-link sign-in — no password is required. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your email account used for sign-in.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscription & Billing

HostPage is a paid subscription service. The following plans are available:

• Monthly plan: Starter at $15 per month, Pro at $29 per month, billed monthly.
• Yearly plan: Starter at $144 per year, Pro at $288 per year, billed annually.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply at your next renewal date.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or import to HostPage, including property descriptions, photos, pricing information, and reviews. By using our platform, you grant HostPage a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating your booking website. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

6. Host Responsibilities

As a host using HostPage, you agree to:

• Ensure that your listing information is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• Comply with all applicable local laws, regulations, and tax obligations related to short-term rentals in your jurisdiction.
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your property.
• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner (pending bookings expire after 24 hours).
• Honor confirmed bookings and provide the accommodations as described.
• Handle guest disputes and complaints professionally and in good faith.

HostPage is a website builder and booking tool. We are not a party to any rental agreement between hosts and guests, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of listed properties.

7. Guest Bookings

HostPage facilitates direct bookings between hosts and guests. Here is how the booking process works:

1. A guest visits the host's booking website and submits a reservation request with their details and payment information.
2. Payment is authorized (but not captured) through the host's connected Stripe account via Stripe Connect.
3. The host has 24 hours to confirm or decline the booking request.
4. If confirmed, the payment is captured and the reservation is finalized. If declined or not acted upon within 24 hours, the authorization is released and the booking expires.

Payments flow directly to the host's Stripe account. HostPage does not hold or process guest payments — we simply facilitate the connection between the guest and the host's payment processor.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use HostPage for any of the following:

• Listing properties you do not own or have authorization to rent.
• Publishing fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Engaging in illegal activities or facilitating unlawful short-term rentals.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure.
• Using automated systems or bots to access the platform without our written consent.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against guests or other users.
• Reselling or sublicensing access to HostPage.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

The HostPage name, logo, website templates, user interface designs, and all associated branding are the intellectual property of Labforty8 LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without our prior written consent. Your use of HostPage does not grant you any ownership rights to our intellectual property.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostPage and Labforty8 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of bookings, property damage, or disputes between hosts and guests. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of HostPage shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.

HostPage is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or for any other reason at our sole discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your booking website will be taken offline and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of HostPage shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
